Seminar for own stock- inseminator and nationally certified inseminators

In today’s horse breeding artificial insemination can´t be assumed away. There are more than 40 licensed insemination stations for horses alone in North Rhine- Westphalia. During the short-course (own stock- inseminator) you will acquire the necessary knowledge and, with the final exam, the legal permission to inseminate mares of own stock.

After the successful participation to the seminar you can take action as an Insemination Commissioner for Horses.

Hands-on instructions are of particular importance both in the short-course and seminar.

The state stud of Warendorf as a recognized Institution for Insemination Commissioners for Horses and Own-Stock Inseminators offers optimal preconditions for practical training.

Admission Requirements:
  • Degree in the region of animal farming or
  • Comparable training and half a year of praxis in the field of agriculture or
  • Half a year of training in an insemination station or
  • Four years of farming activity in animal husbandry business and three month of training in an insemination station.
